出版業界に少しだけ詳しい自分から見れば
発売延期ならまだしも発売中止は余程だよ
しかも予約だけで10万部以上て業界からすれば
絶対に発売に漕ぎ着けないと関係役員がとぶレベル

発売中止になるぐらいなら配分率をほとんど
まお事務所にしてでも普通は発売に持っていく
おそらく予約数から言ってもまおの事務所には
かなりのおカネは入るはずだったから
これを断ったというならもう事務所の本心ではないのは推測できる

たぶん事務所はまおを説得しようとしたけど
まお本人かまおの家族が首を縦にふらなかったのだろう
これだけの儲け話を突然無しにできるのは
まお本人かまおの家族以外考えられない
広告費だけでもポプラ社はすでにかなり使ってるし
お涙頂戴で金儲けとかまおが1番嫌なやり方だから
最後までまおは折れなかったのだろう
